The Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) in cooperation with InoBat cordially invites you to our Expert Forum on the topic of: „Europe’s in-house EV battery solution developed and made in Slovakia“.

The event offers insight into new trends of the Slovak automotive sector, primarily focusing on the new Slovakia based European EV battery brand Inobat and the implication of the investment for the changing industry as such.

The shift towards alternative propulsion systems is disrupting both carmakers & suppliers and is forcing them to transform their businesses. Additionally, this change has led to the emergence of many new brands, product lines, and companies, who also want to contribute to the future of mobility. Governments have to adapt too, to foster the future growth of their national economies and avoid potential upcoming unemployment-related turbulences. While this situation brings an increasing amount of challenges for all, it also creates opportunities that, if utilized correctly, can lead to a competitive edge.

The EU has a strong automotive industry, but a lacking EV supply chain to support these current trends. It is mostly innovative global players from the “Far East” that are trying to fill this EV battery gap- by setting up modern, large-scale manufacturing facilities, but usually keeping Intellectual property related ownership in their home countries. Our session aims to introduce one of the solutions to this situation- InoBat, a European EV battery brand developed and made in Slovakia, the country with the largest per-capita car production in the world, which lies in the heart of the CE automotive industry.
