SARIO at the AUTOMOTIVE WORLD 2019 in Tokyo, Japan

On January 16 – 18, 2019 the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) participated in the 11th edition of the world's largest automotive technology exhibition - AUTOMOTIVE WORLD 2019 in Tokyo, Japan. Since the AUTOMOTIVE WORLD.

The fair is known to be the ideal meeting place for car industry representatives not only from Asia but also from around the world and the automotive industry has a strong tradition in our country becoming the driving force of the Slovak economy and is traditionally a very important source of foreign direct investment it only makes sense to present investment opportunities of the SR at this event.

The representatives of SARIO Investment Projects Department presented the Slovak investment environment and the advantages of investing in Slovakia during the fair under the nation branding Good Idea Slovakia of the SARIO stand. To the participating companies - potential investors, they presented the benefits of investing in Slovakia, provided information on the investment environment in Slovakia, investment incentives and answered questions relevant to the potential development of business and investment in our country. At the same time, they have established dozens of personal contacts, including companies that have already successfully established themselves in Slovakia, and have already realized their investment project with us. In the context of further networking they have gained contacts with companies that can become potential partners for Slovak technology companies as part of the SARIO's innovative services initiative.


Vojtech Ferencz, State Secretary of the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic, together with Marián Tomášik, Ambassador of the Slovak Republic to Japan, also opened and participated with the representatives of the SARIO the V4 Business Seminar - Post Brexit Investment Opportunities in the EU.


SARIO will continue to develop awareness-raising activities for Slovakia in front of sophisticated manufacturing and technology companies not only from Japan but also from the wider region of East Asia, and this this fair was a very good starting point.
