Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) within the National Project "Support for the Internationalization of SMEs" during the period June 7 - 10, 2021 prepared a platform for eight Slovak small and medium-sized companies (SMEs) for their presentation within the joint Slovak national stand. The presentation under the visual branding of the SR GOOD IDEA SLOVAKIA took place at the 29th international electrotechnical fair ELEKTRO in Moscow, Russian Federation. The fair ELEKTRO in Moscow is the most important fair of its kind on the Russian market. Every year, ELEKTRO covers a wide range of technologies and electrical equipment for the energy, manufacturing, construction, transport, and urban equipment sectors. This year, 226 exhibitors from 18 countries presented themselves on more than 19,000 square meters of exhibition space. The Slovak Republic was represented at the exhibition by a national stand organized by the SARIO agency. The national stand of the SR gave space to these 8 Slovak companies to present their activities: ECOFIL, s.r.o., ELKOND HHK, a.s., ELTECO GROUP, s.r.o., IMAO electric, s.r.o., KELEX s.r.o., KIWA sk, s.r.o., KURUC - COMPANY s.r.o., and T-Industry, s.r.o. The joint national exposition was the opportunity to present their business activities and a range of their products to foreign partners, as well as to establish business contacts to conclude business contracts and export products abroad. In addition, the companies had the opportunity to personally discuss with representatives of domestic businesses and regions of the Russian Federation the possibility of entering the Russian market, respectively expanding its presence in the market. Slovak subjects highly appreciated the interest of Russian companies in the offered products and solutions, and also the possibility to participate in the exhibition with the support of the SR. The importance of Slovakia's participation in ELEKTRO was also supported by the visit of Natália Potičná and Daniel Duchoň, the economic diplomats of the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Moscow, who during their visit discussed with each representative of the participating companies their production programs and the possibilities of entering the market of the Russian Federation.
