Business mission to Cyprus connected with Reflect Festival

The SARIO agency organized a business mission to Cyprus from May 29th to 31st, 2024. The primary goal of the mission was to enable Slovak entrepreneurs’ participation in the seventh edition of the Reflect Festival, a technology event in Limassol. This year's event welcomed 10,000 participants from 70 countries, with over 300 attendees from Slovakia.

As in the previous year, SARIO and the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Nicosia, in collaboration with local partners, leveraged the synergy with Reflect Festival to organize an accompanying business mission. For the seven participants of the business delegation, a separate business forum with B2B meetings and a multi-day conference program were included in their agenda.

SARIO, along with the Slovak Embassy in Nicosia, the Cyprus-Slovak Business Association, and the Limassol Chamber of Commerce and Industry, organized a business forum on May 29th, 2024. The forum was opened by the chairman of the Limassol Chamber of Commerce and Industry, A. Tsouloftas, and the Slovak Ambassador, Martin Bezák. The event featured a presentation on Doing Business in Cyprus and a B2B forum where Slovak entities had the opportunity to showcase their products and services. The business mission aimed to introduce Slovak entities to the Cyprus market, present trade and investment opportunities in the region, and foster closer cooperation with local business partners.

The opening and main conference of the Reflect Festival took place across several interconnected locations within the former Kolla factory premises. This format allowed for a significant expansion and diversification of the event's content, providing opportunities for parallel panel sessions and targeted networking for Slovak representatives. The program traditionally runs on several thematic stages (Big Picture Stage, Money Stage, Tech Island Stage, and others). Thanks to the global nature of the event, Slovak companies were able to establish contacts with participants from all over the world at the Reflect Festival.
