During the visit of the Minister of the Environment Ján Budaj October 2. - 6., 2020 to EXPO 2020 Dubai, the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency prepared a program for Slovak companies accompanying the Minister in the thematic week CLIMATE & BIODIVERSITY.Companies Sensoneo, Bioelektra, Archee, InnoBat, ElisTech and others which represented waste management, energy or electromobility sector had the opportunity to establish business contacts with local partners. B2B meetings were arranged by SARIO, in cooperation with local partner, based on specific demands from Slovak companies.During this business mission, the companies had the opportunity to meet with important state-owned companies as well as investment funds operating in the region. The added value was also networking with selected companies from other pavilions, such as Slovenia, Serbia or Chile.Some of these companies also used the EXPO visit to meet existing partners, while others focused to address potential partners from around the world.The program includes also the visit of the Dubai Sustainable City, where participating companies had the opportunity to present their innovative solutions to a local developer who plans to build similar projects in the surrounding Arab countries.Representatives of companies expressed positive feedback to their participation in EXPO 2020 Dubai mission and the prepared business program. The companies will continue to communicate with partners, several of them will visit EXPO Dubai again.
