GlobalTags News Business mission Foreign trade Taliansko The Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO), within the National Project, in cooperation with Slovak Space Agency, organized a business mission to Milan from October 13, 2024, to October 18, 2024, where small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) participated in the International Astronautical Congress 2024.A total of 12 SMEs focused on the space industry took part in the mission: 3IPK, a.s., Astros Solutions s.r.o., Ateliér ARCHA s.r.o., GEODETICCA VISION, Global Singularity s.r.o., GROUNDCOM R&D SK, s.r.o., Ing. Arch. Michal Križo, insar.sk s.r.o., M2M Solutions, s.r.o., NEEDRONIX s.r.o., Orbisys s.r.o., and Touch4IT s.r.o.The first half of the week was dedicated to B2B meetings with companies from Spain, Switzerland, and Canada, during which firms had the opportunity to establish new business contacts. In the second half of the week, company representatives attended meetings in the Latvian, German, and Slovenian pavilions, where they negotiated with local companies. In total, Slovak companies held more than 280 B2B meetings.On Tuesday, a networking event was organized under the auspices of SARIO, celebrating the 5th anniversary of Slovakia’s membership in the International Astronautical Federation (IAF). The event was attended by various relevant entities from the space industry, including IAF President Clay Mowry. During the event, Slovak companies had the opportunity to present their activities and services related to space technologies.We believe that Slovak companies successfully established new business partnerships and strengthened relationships with international partners, which will potentially lead to further opportunities for the development and expansion of Slovak SMEs.
