Business mission to Munich

On October 22—23, 2024, a 2—day business mission to Munich took place, which was organized by Slovak Agency for Investment and Trade Development (SARIO) in cooperation with the Consulate General of the Slovak Republic in Munich and Kosice IT Valley.

The mission consisted of 19 Slovak companies from the information and communication technology (ICT) sector. These companies had the opportunity to present their products and services, establish new business contacts, develop cooperation with Germany, and gather inspiration from the field of innovations.

As part of the mission, an event called B2B Day Slovakia was held, with the main partners being IHK für München und Oberbayern (the Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Munich and Upper Bavaria) and AHK Slowakei (the German-Slovak Chamber of Commerce).

The Consul General of the Slovak Republic in Munich, Jozef Korček, welcomed the Slovak companies with his opening speech.

During the event, presentations on the Slovak ICT sector and the success of the company Unique People in Germany were given. The event provided a platform for B2B meetings with German companies.

Site visits to significant German companies were organized for the Slovak companies. During their visit to BMW Headquarters, they were introduced to the innovation center and the brand's vision. A special item on the agenda was a tour of the production facility. During visits to T-systems and IBM Client Innovation Center, they had the chance to gather numerous inspirations for the development of innovative technologies and solutions.
