GlobalTags News Business mission Foreign trade Srbsko The SARIO Agency, in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, the Slovak Embassy in Belgrade, and the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, organized the largest-ever Serbia-Slovakia Business Forum in Belgrade on November 21st, 2024. The business mission took place during the official visit of Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico to Serbia.The business delegation represented 45 Slovak companies and more than 50 Serbian companies registered for the event. Their goal was to establish new partnerships and explore opportunities for cooperation in sectors such as energy, renewable resources and environmental solutions, engineering, industry, defense, the automotive industry, agriculture, construction, healthcare, and information and communication technologies.The Serbia-Slovakia Business Forum, held at the Palace of Serbia, began with opening remarks from Marko Čadež, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, Robert Šimončič, Director General of SARIO, Rober Fico, Prime Minister of Slovakia and Aleksandar Vučić, President of Serbia. Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency and Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia in the presence of the Serbian President and Slovak Prime Minister.After the official opening of the business forum and presentations on the possibilities of deepening cooperation between Slovakia and Serbia, dozens of B2B business meetings took place. As a concrete result of the ongoing collaboration between businesses from both countries, the Serbian company Vatrosprem proizvodnja and the Slovak company BPS Truck Servis signed a memorandum of cooperation
