The Slovak Agency for Investment and Trade Development (SARIO) within the framework of the National Project Support for Internationalisation of SMEs organised a business mission to Vietnam Expo 2023 in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from 3-9 April 2023.The event, VIETNAM EXPO, is one of the initiatives of the Vietnamese Government and the Ministry of Industry and Trade to promote business cooperation between Vietnam and in it interested countries. With a history of more than 30 years, this exhibition is seen as one of the means to contribute to the mutual trade growth between Vietnam and the outside world in the upcoming future. Vietnam as a territory is seen as a new landmark where innovation and IT solutions are on the daily rise.This is also why the business mission was held in the spirit of introducing new ideas and intelligent solutions in a wide representation of different sectors. Slovak SMEs were thus able to participate in the mission in order to raise their visibility and have relevant B2B and B2G meetings. To this end, during the business mission, companies had the opportunity to visit Vietnamese IT and innovation companies, various chambers of commerce as well as the largest successful Slovak investment in Vietnam in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City.The Slovak delegation was represented by fourteen Slovak companies during the business mission, which had the opportunity to present their business activities, to enrich themselves with the know-how of professional outputs during visits to individual Vietnamese companies, as well as to establish new business contacts.
