On December 7th, 2022, SARIO agency in cooperation with the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Hungary, organized an online consultating session for Slovak companies and enterprises entitled Challenges and prospects of the Hungarian economy.During the online event, we focused on issues related to Hungary's economic development, current problems and challenges within the Hungarian economy in the context of the energy crisis and anti-Russian sanctions from the side of the EU as well as other economic-institutional issues.After a short technical introduction, Attila Szép, an economic diplomat working at the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Budapest, delivered his contribution. The event was intended primarily for the companies from the energy sector, engineering or agricultural production.In the course of the contribution, several topics were touched, including the completion of the PAKS II power plant, the creation of a new Ministry of Energy of Hungary and current ongoing investment projects.A total of 12 Slovak companies participated in the consulting session, primarily from the energy, engineering, industrial automation, agriculture and food industries. In addition to these sectors, enterprises from automotive segment and ICT took part either.
