GlobalTags News Cooperation events SMEs Slovakia INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS DAY 2024, an international cooperation event for Slovak small and medium-sized companies was organized by the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) and took place on May 30, 2024, in Bratislava. This year, INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS DAY 2024 was attended by 80 companies focusing on engineering, electrical engineering, energy, construction, ecology, and information and communication technologies. The following countries were represented: Czech Republic, Austria, Belgium, France, Poland, Hungary, Switzerland, Romania and Ukraine.More than 500 B2B negotiations took place, during which participants had the opportunity to establish new contacts and develop business relationships. This format similar to "speed dating" allows a large number of relevant partners to meet in one place and one day. Therefore, it is highly appreciated by the companies themselves. Companies thus have access to a wide range of potential business partners without the need to travel abroad.At the same time, SARIO is preparing National Project 2 aimed at supporting the internationalization of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which will provide financial and non-financial support to Slovak enterprises, through activities such as participation in fairs and exhibitions, business missions at home and abroad, cooperation and sourcing events as well as activities aimed at developing the supply chains of Slovak SMEs.
