On March 25, 2014 the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) organized on the premises of the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic the presentation of investment projects in Montenegro on the occasion of a two-day working visit of Vladimir Kavarić, the Minister of Economy of Montenegro.Tomáš Malatinský, the Minister of Economy of the SR and Vladimir Kavarić, the Minister of Economy of Montenegro signed the agreement between the Government of the SR and the Government of Montenegro on Economic Cooperation. The agreement is to help promote the intensification of bilateral economic cooperation between Slovakia and Montenegro.The topics of meetings and interviews during the visit of the Montenegrin delegation to Slovakia were issues of bilateral economic cooperation, implementation of joint projects in Montenegro, with the participation of Slovak companies (with an emphasis on energy), transfer of Slovak experience in promoting foreign investments, creating or operation of industrial zones in Slovakia, and the implementation of major infrastructure projects.The presentation of investment projects in Montenegro was attended by 14 Slovak companies. In the first part of the program Vladimir Kavarić presented the investment opportunities as well as PPT projects in Montenegro to Slovak business subjects and subsequently he led negotiations on cooperation with the representatives of SARIO.
