SARIO Bussines Day

The Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) has been organizing international cooperation events to support the export of Slovak companies since 2007. The spring edition of this platform's event — SARIO Bussines Day was held on June 4, 2024, in Banská Bystrica.

The SARIO Bussines Day event was attended by 82 Slovak entities and representatives of six foreign chambers of commerce, who met during almost 170 pre-planned negotiations and dozens more during the whole day of networking with many professional partners of the event. Traditionally, ČSOB was the general partner of the event.

Expert panel discussions were devoted to the support of economic growth in the Banská Bystrica Region, they presented domestic and foreign companies successful in this region, the drone industry in Slovakia, and specific tools and sources of funding for new projects.

In the afternoon, the participants of the event and other representatives of companies took part in an interactive investment seminar on the possibilities of introducing business service centers beyond production in the Banska  Bystrica Region.

SARIO currently has a total of 71 investment projects in progress in the sectors of industrial production, technology centers, and shared service centers. In 34 cases, the agency offered investors among other locations in the Banska Bystrica Region.
