Location Bratislava On August 22– 25, 2013 the representatives of the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO)attended the 40th international agriculture and food exhibition AGROKOMPLEX. The event, held under the auspices of Lubomir Jahnatek , the Minister of Agriculture of the SR, has presented more than 450 exhibitors of agricultural machinery, garden equipment and technologies for crop and livestock production and feed industry from Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Austria, Germany, Serbia, Switzerland, Lithuania, Great Britain, Russia and other countries. The fair was opened by the President of the Slovak Republic Ivan Gašparovič. The Prime Minister of the SR Robert Fico, the Minister of Agriculture Lubomir Jahnátek, the Minister of Economy of the SR Tomas Malatinský, city officials and representatives of Nitra Self-governing Region attended the opening ceremony. On August 23, 2013 the roundtable meeting was attended by leaders of the Russian delegation, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, businesses and the Chuvash Republic and during this meeting a memorandum on cooperation was signed. The representatives of the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO)together with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of the SR and representatives of the Russian Federation in Slovakia organized the program and bilateral talks with Slovak partners for representatives of the Delegation of the Russian Federation - the Astrakhan region, the Krasnoyarsk region, the Khanty-Mansiysk region and the Chuvash Republic, who presented a joint stand experience requirements and possibilities of cooperation in the areas of agriculture.
