On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Visegrad Group (V4), an online conference called MidV4est Investment Forum was held on June 17, 2021. The main organizers of the event were representatives of the current Polish Presidency - the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Chicago and the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH). SARIO and the Consulate General of the Slovak Republic in New York took part in the event as co-organizers.The aim of the MidV4est Investment Forum was, in addition to remark common successes of the past 30 years, also the presentation of the potential of the V4 countries as suitable investment destinations.SARIO was represented by Simona Jurkovičová, a consultant of the Investment Projects Department, who had the opportunity to present Slovakia in a panel entitled Technology and Innovation.Video: The presentation introduced the participants to the innovative potential of Slovakia by providing an overview of high-perspective and rapidly developing sectors such as space and aerospace sectors, medical technology sector, and innovative mobility, as well as success stories in the field of information and communication technologies and e-mobility.The event, consisting of three panels, drew the attention of more than 110 registered participants, most of whom were representatives of companies, economic organizations, and chambers of commerce from the US Midwest region.
