On April 23, 2014, Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) organized an “Invest in Slovakia Seminar” for entrepreneurs from Turkey together with the Embassy of Turkey in Bratislava, Investment Support Organization (ISA) and PWC, on the initiative of Honorary Consulate of Istanbul. The seminar took place in the premises of SARIO and hosted 15 entrepreneurs from Turkey headed by Honorary Consul of the Slovak Republic in Kayzeri, Mr. Osman Güldüoğlu.Head of Business Development Department (BDD), Ms. Marcela Torokova opened the seminar and officially welcomed the delegation.The next speech was provided by Honorary Consul of the Slovak Republic in Kayzeri, Mr. Osman Güldüoğlu, which was followed by the speech of Economic Counsellor from Turkey to Slovakia Ms. Yesim Bayam Pakbese. Head of Investment Division, Mr. Roman Sabo expressed his support to initiatives enhancing the cooperation between the Slovak Republic and Turkey.Project manager from BDD, Ms. Gabriela Markova presented the investment environment of the Slovak Republic as well as current investment incentives framework.Foreign Trade Department represented by Project manager Mr. Peter Retkovsky prepared a presentation about mutual trade with Turkey, which was followed by a presentation about main activities of ISA as a support of professional activities for SARIO, presented by Ms. Lenka Demovicova. Final words were delivered by Mr. Todd Bradshow, representative of the company PWC, who talked about Slovakia as a very dynamic and economically and politically stable country.SARIO will be in touch with the participating companies and thereby will develop their interest to invest in Slovakia.Furthermore, SARIO is in a regular contact with honorary consulates and embassies in different countries, which are the key partners of SARIO´s communication network and whose assistance in investment and trade projects is much appreciated. Therefore an opportunity to introduce services of the agency is very well received through the following investment events.
