GlobalTags News Foreign trade China On May 17, 2024, a Slovak-Chinese business forum with representatives of companies from the city of Ningbo was held on the premises of the Devín Hotel in parallel with the 13th China-Slovakia Joint Committee for Economic and Trade Cooperation between the Slovak Republic and Chinese People´s Republic. The business forum was organized by the SARIO agency in cooperation with the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Slovakia to outline and deepen mutual business relations between Slovakia and the Chinese city of Ningbo.The program consisted of two parts. The first was dedicated to the presentation of the business and investment environment of the Slovak Republic, and then the Chinese side presented the city of Ningbo and invited those present to the prestigious exhibition China-CEEC Expo. In the second part, B2B negotiations took place, during which Slovak companies could establish cooperation with Chinese companies and present their products and services to them.In total, 32 Slovak companies and 11 Chinese entities, mainly from the food and electrotechnical sectors, took part in the event. They have completed more than 80 B2B negotiations.
