On June 4, 2014 the Honorary Consulate of the SR in Frankfurt organized together with the German-Slovak Chamber of Commerce and Chamber of Commerce in Frankfurt and SARIO an investment seminar „Commercial Day of Slovakia - Opportunities for German companies in the Middle and Eastern Europe“ in order to promote Slovakia to potential German investors. The Honorary Consul of Slovakia in Hessen Mr. Imrich Donath welcomed the participants in the premises of the Chamber of Commerce in Frankfurt. The investment environment in Slovakia and the experience of German companies with entrepreneurship in Slovakia were presented by the Governor of the National Bank of Slovakia Mr. Jozef Makúch, the representatives of SARIO Mr. Dominik Susa and Miss Slavomíra Lenhardtová, the managing director of German-Slovak Chamber of Commerce Mr. Guido Glania and the partner of PwC Slovakia Mr. Jens Hörning. Law firm bnt attorneys-at-law and personal agency Job Impulse offered practical advices to German companies. Succesfully established German companies in Slovakia IT Impulse, Arachne, Repro Elektronik and Vacuumschmelze shared their positive experience with the enterpreneurship and life in Slovakia. Each series of presentations was followed by a panel discussion, in which the participants of seminar were actively engaged. The participants continued their discussion during lunch time and after the official part of seminar. The event was attended by representatives of 50 German companies.
