GlobalTags News Foreign trade Cooperation events Taiwan The Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO), in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic and the Taipei Representative Office in Bratislava, organized on the occasion of the visit of Taiwanese entrepreneurs to Slovakia an event called Slovak-Taiwan Networking Event on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 in Bratislava.35 Slovak and 11 Taiwanese business entities took the opportunity to present their services and products to potential business partners and establish new contacts. The event was opened by the Deputy Director of the Foreign Trade Department of SARIO, Daniel Ondruš, followed by a presentation of the Slovak business and investment environment by the Senior Consultant of the Investment Projects Department of SARIO, Marek Kopanický, and a presentation of the Taipei Smart City Expo & Taiwan Startup Terrace by Ms. Nicholle Chen from the Taipei Computer Association.Subsequent short presentations by participating Taiwanese companies were followed by approximately 50 B2B negotiations, dominated by the topics of the electrical industry, ICT, smart cities, medtech and food industry. The SARIO agency also arranged for the business delegation from Taiwan professional visits with lectures at ESET and Photoneo, which took place on November 25, 2024.
