On March 27, 2025 Slovakia took center stage in New York City’s business community with a high-level investment seminar that brought together decision-makers, trade representatives, and global business leaders. Organized by SARIO in partnership with the Consulate General of the Slovak Republic in New York and AmCham Slovakia, the event marked the official launch of SARIO’s new presence in NYC.

Held at the newly opened Consulate General of Slovakia in New York City, the seminar introduced Slovakia as a strategic gateway for American companies seeking to expand into Europe. Edward Mermelstein, Commissioner of International Affairs for the City of New York, joined the seminar to personally congratulate SARIO on opening its New York office and shared his enthusiasm for working together to strengthen Slovak business visibility in the city.

Their shared goal was to explore the rising opportunities within Slovakia’s economy.
