GlobalTags News Business mission Slovak Space Office Fairs & exhibitions SIAE France SMEs The Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) within the framework of the National project 'Supporting the internationalization of SMEs' in the period from June 19-25, 2023, prepared a platform for 6 Slovak small and medium-sized entrepreneurs for their presentation as part of a joint exhibition at the International Fair focused on aviation and space industry SIAE Paris Airshow.Since 1909, the International Paris Air Show has grown steadily and is now the largest aviation event in the world. The fair provides an opportunity to meet key players in the aerospace industry, take advantage of new business opportunities, introduce innovations to the world, and create technology and industry partnerships.More than 2,400 companies from 49 countries are exhibiting at the event. The number of professional visitors is at the level of 140,000, where more than 40% are visitors from abroad.The Slovak Republic was represented at the exhibition by a national stand under the Good Idea Slovakia brand organized by the SARIO agency, which presented 6 Slovak companies: 3IPK, Airvolute, CTRL, GoSpace IOT, Shark.Aero a Supratek.The aim of the participation of Slovak companies in the joint national exhibition was the opportunity to present their business activities and to present their range of products to foreign partners, as well as to establish business contacts with the aim of concluding business contracts and exporting products abroad.The importance of Slovakia's participation at the fair was also supported by the economic diplomat Mr. Tomáš Šefranko, who during his visit to the joint exhibition discussed with each representative of the participating companies about their production program and the possibilities of entering the French market.The accompanying event of the organization of the national stand was the Professional Seminar on the Slovak aviation and space industry, connected with the subsequent networking of Slovak companies with their foreign business partners. The event was organized by the Slovak Embassy in Paris, as part of the Economic Cooperation Project, in cooperation with the Slovak Space Office and the SARIO agency. At the event were presented, the Slovak space and aviation industry, challenges and opportunities under the patronage of Daniel Šagath, International Cooperation Manager, Slovak Space Office, and the production and research potential of Slovak companies exhibiting at the SIAE Paris Airshow.Slovak economic diplomat in Paris Mr. Tomáš Šefranko presented Slovakia as an attractive country for investment and business, and at the same time presented our successful companies, which are also asserting themselves in a competitive international environment.
