GlobalTags News Foreign trade Arms industry Armenia Robert Šimončič, Chief Executive Officer of the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency on May 15, 2024 welcomed, Karen Brutyan, the Deputy Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia, on the occasion of the IDEB 2024 defence exhibition in Bratislava. Representatives of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia were also part of the delegation. During the meeting, the Slovak company DefTech presented its solutions suitable for Armenia. Karen Brutyan expressed enthusiasm for the quality of Slovak defence industry products and also expressed Armenia's interest in closer cooperation to diversify the supply of defence equipment and systems. R. Šimončič thanked for the trust in Slovak companies and proposed specific steps to deepen cooperation. After the initial negotiations, the SARIO agency facilitated a meeting between DefTech and the Armenian delegation, during which the company had the opportunity to present its product portfolio and solutions for the needs of the Armenian government in the defence sector. We are pleased that the company was invited to visit Armenia for further discussions.
