On 23 November 2021, the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO), in cooperation with the Turkish Automobile Parts and Components Association (TAYSAD), organized an online investment seminar entitled Developing Your Business in Slovakia for Turkish companies. The webinar was aimed at TAYSAD members who are considering locating their new investments in Slovakia.The official opening of the webinar was covered by Atacan Güner, Member of the Board of TAYSAD, followed by speeches by Nihan Odabaşı Şansever, Commercial Counselor from the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Slovakia, and Michal Lánik, Commercial and Economic Counselor of the Slovak Consulate General in Istanbul.Simona Jurkovičová, consultant of the Investment Projects Department of SARIO introduced the agency’s services, the Slovak business, and investment environment, the automotive sector, as well as the support mechanisms.At the end of the event, Bahadır Gönenç, plant manager of the Turkish company Cavo Automotive, which is an established investor in Nitra, presented his experience with the Slovak investment environment.
