LEADER2LEADERNew platform of the The British Chamber of Commerce in the Slovak Republic in cooperation with the Embassy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in Bratislava, today welcomed a special guest — Chris Barton CMG, His Majesty's Trade Commissioner for Europe.The event was opened with a speech by H. E. Nigel Baker, British Ambassador to Slovakia, after which the main guest of the event, Chris Barton, British Trade Commissioner for Europe, addressed the participants. Lucia Kišš, Director General of the Department of Economic and Development Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, spoke about the international dimension of cooperation between the two countries.Róbert Šimončič, CEO of the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency, took part in the discussion about business relations between the Slovak Republic and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, as well as about investment projects. Among other things, he talked about the arrival of Jaguar Land Rover, which our agency has been involved with since the beginning, as well as post-investment care for investors.The whole event was accompanied by Miroslava Remenarova, the Chairwoman of the Board of the British Chamber of Commerce in Slovakia.
